GOLF COURSE ENHANCEMENT SCHEME - PHASE 1 & 2

PHASE ONE - 10th, 11th and 12th holes
PHASE TWO - New 1st Green & 2nd Tee including areas between 1st, 2nd, 9th, 5th holes.

The golf course enhancement scheme is now well underway in partnership with Woodland Environmental.

They are constructing new mound complexes in the extensive rough areas between 10th, 11th and 12th and they have also removed the 2 existing fairway bunkers on the left hand side of the 12th, which have been replaced with a new one in the face of the mound.

A new 12th green was constructed in early Feburary 2008; therefore the use of a temporary 12th green is in operation until next March 2009 when the new green will be ready for use.

New Medal tees have recently been designed and constructed on 13th & 1st. This will give golfers better visibility of the green.

We are carefully phasing the operation so that it causes as little disruption to the play of the course.
